Other When do apple stores usually display hew iPhones?

The new iPhones will be announced 9/9. Let’s assume we can pre-order on 9/13 and buy on 9/20. When do you think stores in the US stores will have the new iPhones on display? My wife wants to see the phones in person before she decides on a color.
