I don't foresee the labels changing - personally, I think they're a bit silly. The current scheme has an subtly aesthetic appeal - and just watch jelloshotsrule or jefhatfield to see when the next processor hits 😀

When do the membership levels change? It seems I have been a regular forever, and I have done about 300 posts. It seems like by now I should be a little higher than a regular.

Man, I just wish they'd do away with anything other than newbie/regular. And that should be based on post count and time.

The current system just encourages lots of lame postings in an effort to get one's post count up. And I have to read those lame posts. Poor form.

I know, it's the people abusing the system, not the system, but unfortunately there's nothing we can do but change the system.

ClimbingTheLog: Time should definitely be a factor in determining the status. That way, newbies will actually be "new" and the oldtimers that have been around long but don't post too much will still have some recognition.
