Just behind you
hello,

As i plan to get a Watch 10, I'd like to monitor my sleep and that sleep apnea detection rumor seems very interesting to me.

But then i'd wear my watch days and nights So i'm just curious, when do you find it the most practical time of the day to charge it ?

Thank you

I charge the one I wore when I switch to the other one (Ultra 1 and Ultra 2). That is usually in the morning after around 24 hours :)

With Ultra 2, I charge it every 2 days while driving from home to work or viceversa. 1 hours drive is usually enough to charge it from 50% to 100%.

I charge over night and never wear it in bed and plan get new Apple Watch 10. I think after getting Apple Watch 10 I will put on charge while I get ready for bed like showering etc. Then in morning put on charge while I getting dressed/showered etc. Hopefully it be enough. Will see.....

I charge it in the evening during the last hour or so before going to bed. Then I also put it on the charger in the morning while I'm having breakfast etc - the latter is probably not needed but it's more for peace of mind I suppose.

Showering, doing the dishes, taking a conference call at my desk. It's never been an issue for me to keep it charged.
I sleep with Ultra on.

Do you know if Crash Detection works while charging? I hope so but can’t find anything on Apple’s page on it or in the Settings.

Using a Series 8 and would like to charge it in the morning before work for an hour or so.

But something is wrong with the watch.
I use my Apple 20 w charger and the braided cable and it takes over 2 hours to charge from 15-100%.
It’s the same speed as my 5w charger.
Optimized battery charge is off.

So now I have to charge all night.

Put it on charge while you’re showering. That’s usually enough until the next day. I also use it for sleep monitoring.
I do that as well, and I charge my Apple Watch in the mornings sometimes if it drained battery a lot for sleep tracking as well.

I have an Ultra 1 and don’t really need to charge but once every other day, but for peace of mind, I charge in the morning before work, and an hour before bed. I sleep with my Ultra to track my sleep, HR, HRV, and blood oxygen levels along with my cpap machine.

In the morning, when I wake up.

I have a Belkin three in one fast charger, and my watch charges incredibly fast.

As above really, seems to me the watch is great for tracking stuff during the day but also while you sleep, in which case how do folks manage the battery..?

I take it they charge that quickly then..! I don’t do desk work but yeah I could charge while showering and getting ready though that’s only like 30 mins really ☹️
