Ugh, don’t remind me. 😂 If I forget to charge in the morning it might last till evening, but it might not, so I tend to charge it evenings and* if I remember for 30 minutes or so in the morning. It’s a great and useful device but not fun to notice how much of a hassle (OK minor hassle but still…) the 2x per day charging is. Having used a Fitbit for a couple years before that.

Battery life at 89%, got it in Nov. 2021.

Reading the responses it seems like upgrading to the Ultra would be great, but I like the design of the regular ones better and dropping $400+ on it (the regular models) is no small thing for me. I’ll be interested to see what new models are like in the Fall.

Well, my launch Apple Watch sat on its charger every night from April 24th 2015 until a couple of weeks ago when I finally replaced it with a series 8. It lasted me all day every day of its life.

My S5 never lasts a full day, so I charge full overnight and every now and then later in the day.

AW U charges rapidly so during bath time each day. Even after a ten k run, 40 min strength training the watch battery rarely gets to 50%.
Old AW 8 occasionally in the car if on a long journey.

It depends... I have an AW5 and mostly charge all night. But when sleep tracking became available I started wearing at night instead and charging when possible. However, it's way more important to me to be able to wear my watch all the time when I'm awake for the exercise program I am in. At this point I think I'm more in the when possible camp.

Usually I work out in the early evening and I charge it in the afternoon, to have it full when I start workout.

I tend to put mine on charge in the morning, whilst I'm getting ready for my day.

I've never been one for leaving batteries charging all night, as I'm pretty sure it's bad for battery health.

What about you?

Wishing everyone well.

The same here. I’ll put it on the fast charger when I shower - once when I get up in the morning and one more time before bed time.

My S7 is currently at 86% battery health and I’ll probably request for a battery swap by the end of the year. Not going to upgrade in the summer for sure.
