When do you think macbook pro's will get quad core?

Hey all,

was just looking at the comments about the intel chips on the home page and figured I would ask this, when do you guys/gals think will put the quad mobile chip that intel has on their roadmap into their laptops? Anytime soon? Never?

I honestly highly doubt ever. The cost to develop the cooling system needed to cool a quad core chip would push the cost of the MB to too high a level. Plus, the battery needed to power that would be quite a bit larger than what is implemented now...

I highly doubt it will ever happen. Sorry. 🙁
