Lol, such a random thread, but I was thinking the same thing.

It has been 10 days for as long as I have had the app and that has been months if not close to a year??

Maybe I'm a special case. I played my brother, he didn't respond for 13 days and it auto-resigned. It's still on my screen. I wish I had my other 20+ days to show you. My family is a pro at this game. My dad and mom are ridiculous. All they do is stay home and play it. Even at work, too! He's airport police and she's a nurse!! She ignores my nieces and nephew until she puts her move in. They live together, and not talk to each since they're so wrapped up in their games. We have family competitions and bets. It's ridiculous. I'm glad I fell out the hype.

Ah... I knew they changed it..

Shortened auto-resign times, or, a quick note on our process for enhancing our games

Posted on January 7, 2011
We recently made a decision to shorten the wait time before games will auto-resign. As of today, random games will auto-resign after 5 days without a move and invite games after the 11th day with no moves. A push notification will also be sent the day before a game auto-resigns as a reminder. Previously, the wait time was 7 and 22 days, respectively. We’d like to share a bit about what went into this decision.

I knew I wasn't pulling those numbers out of my ass.lol.

Thanks for the responses. The game is really fun, but I really didn't get how you were supposed to play it until now. At first I thought the game was supposed to be a one-time thing, much like a real board game. So for the first few games I was sitting next to my iPad like an idiot waiting for the other guy. I now realize that people make a move if they want to in times they can. It's set up almost like a delayed game where it can take days to finish. It seems that you either have to finish the game, resign when it's your turn, or let the game time out after many days. Which is sort of a strange system.

Anyway, I found awebsite where a guy says that it never timed out for him even after 5 days lol. But it seems like it times out after a random number of days.

You can add me and I'll play from start to finish

Nice to know your parents are in charge of people's safety and well being, but WWF is more important. Sweet info, kudos to them for being hard workers.
