I did a restore from my X to my X max with the latest backup. I have over 150 app and now as its restoring it shows cloud symbols near most of my icons. Sometimes if i tap the icon it will start loading the app. I never turned on or used the "offload unused apps" etc. Do I just need to let it restore?

Thats not correct It happened to most of my app including facebook, google maps etc.

Oh, ok. I thought this was after it had downloaded everything else. I know on mine the few apps that cloud icon were removed. Lucky I has the backups for some.
For me it hit 90 percent of my app. I have to tap each 1 to reinstall it, WhatsApp won't do anything when i tap it.
One of my apps did that. The developer removed it from the store for some reason. I really liked it too 🙁
yea i had 3 that were removed from the store but almost all my 150 apps did it including facebook.
