When exchanging a machine is time reset?

Say you buy a 17" MacBook pro, decide it's not for you..then decide to use that to buy a MacBook air.

Does that MacBook air have a 14 day return policy or only what's left from the remainder of two weeks from your first purchase?

Curious.

I suppose it would have to be considered a new purchase... You could buy a bag or whatever else..or an iMac , etc..and you'd have the 14

That was what I expected, just thought I'd pose the question.
