hi im just wondering does anyone know wtf is up wit fastmac backordering the mbp battery? i've ordered a battery since end of may by using my credit card n it first says that they were sold out n they gunna backorder till end of june n now they changed it to end of july.... i honestly need this battery for this september for my university 3 hrs lecture... can someone please tell me what is up wit em?😕

I'm in the same situation, I ordered on 6 June and availability keeps being put back a month, end of August they reckon now. If there was an alternative supplier (I'm in Australia, and I can't find one except Apple OEM for AU$200!), I'd punish them and go elsewhere. But as it happens, the exchange rate keeps getting better so in theory it's getting cheaper by the day.
I wrote to them in July... no reply. I wonder who manufactures them... have they got a cash flow problem?
EDIT: should have looked a bit closer, macfixit.com.au sell Apple ones for AU$149.
Still annoyed my Apple (Sony) battery has <23% health after 83 cycles, and <18 months old.
