Usually on the right. Since this puts the volume buttons on top. The exception is when I'm carrying it around with headphones connected. In this case I prefer it the other way around so that the headphone jack isn't in the way of my grip.

I use the four finger gestures.

Thats what she said.... Sorry I am a 31 year old child... 🙁
I use it to the right but have noticed I have a few apps that will always start upside down the auto correct. Makes me think I am doing it wrong.

On the right, I hate if I rest it on a table while using it and the volume goes all the way down because its resting on the volume controls.

Always the left because otherwise it feels weird hitting the left volume button and it increase the volume opposed to decreasing it. Left should always decrease. 😛

Usually the home button is on the left for me. I watch a lot of movies on my iPad so having the headphone jack on the right feels a little more comfortable for me.

Mine remains on the right. The reason being, the magnets in the case I have do not work properly when I close the cover to sleep the iPad if the device is turned in the opposite direction.

However, when it's not in a case it's 50-50.

<=== If I want to use the smart cover in the close to flat position.
===> If I hold it or want to get the best sound from the speaker.
