When I upgrade to Leopard...

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question about Leopard...When I want to upgrade it, do I have to clear my harddrive and install it or can I just pop the DVD in and let it upgrade itself without clearing the harddrive? I was just wondering because I've heard of people saying they will clear their harddrive first before installing? I was just wondering which one to do?
