When iMac is sleep and awakes asking for password, can I shut off?

It sucks that I have to log in and then go to the apple sign and shut off. Can I shut off while in the login screen?

No, but you can press escape or click cancel and it will go back to sleep.

Check system pref/users & groups/login options/show the sleep, restart and shut down buttons. Make sure it's checked

Edit: ok weird after unchecking/checking that option it is now showing for me. Thanks!😀
