iPad When is iPad Air 2 going to be available in stores?

I went to my local apple store today (fairview MTL (canada) and asked them when are the new iPads going to be available in store, she told me she had no idea.

When are they going to be available?

I know how they do it, but to sit two days for no reason at all seems silly.

In UK, according to https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/ the iPad Air 2 is "now available". Can't confirm until 9.30 am, when my local store opens.

Oh great thanks!, that's it then. In the US today also, obviously. But like you said, it's a confirmation that will do it.

They get deliveries a few times during the day in the US, and i'm sure in the UK as well (I think 😱 )

In the US they don't have a clue, until they get them.

I bought one in the Apple Store on George Street (Sydney) on my way home from work today. What's odd is they didn't have them on display yet.

Don't think I've ever seen such a subdued launch of an Apple product.

So that's why there was a line outside the store around midday. I was wondering what was going on and thought "hmm maybe the new iPads", but then remembered that they're not supposed to be out until Friday so thought that can't be it.

You're probably right. My girlfriend just mentioned it over the phone as she was walking past. Didn't see it in person.
