Because right now Siri is seriously limited to anyone outside of the United States.

Do you really think anyone knows? You will just have to live with it unfortunately for months/years. Sorry.

Seriously limited? Not really, just no location based services. While I do hope they get activated soon, I can cope for a bit longer and Siri still does a great job with the rest of the things it does.

I was planning to switch mine over to English (British) when I get mine. Does this mean I can't use certain features. I'm in the US.

Siri currently only has a US passport with limited Visa capabilities in other countries. As soon as the government of apple approves she will be a world wide citizen. I'm sure some time next year.

Siri has a sex change when you change its location. (location-aware sex changes... cool!)

More features will be coming to the UK in 2012, so I assume it might be out of beta in late 2012 or when we see the next iPhone.

So they based Siri off Chaz Bono? I never knew the he/she had it in with apple.

I guess it depends on what apple thinks siri's limitations are. If apple thinks siri's endgame should be to answer/handle any reasonable question/request then siri will remain in beta indefinitely. IMHO, a final release means siri has achieved true artificial intelligence.
