Last years policy was

If an item was purchased between November 15 and December 25, 2017 you have until January 8, 2018 to return or exchange it.

I would expect this year will likely be about the same.

As of now day one begins the day following the purchase. As stated, that may change for Xmas. The return date is listed on your receipt. At least mine was.

Apple has not established their Holiday return dates yet. Likely should know something soon, possibly late this week or next week.

It does only if it was purchased full price. If carrier financing, then it's still subject to the 14 day return policy.
