Is there a date etched in stone sometime in November when there is going to be another Mac expo?
The next major Apple event is Macworld in January
Thank you for the info Psychofreak. I now came to the personal conclusion if there is not an update to a Macbook on the Oct 26th Expo in London, it isn't going to happen in anytime in November. They wouldn't just sneak an update on a product in Nov without a big press conference. That would just be horrible marketing in my honest opinion.
well you never know with apple.
Who said there was an Expo in London on the 26th?
This is how we all know http://www.macliveexpo.co.uk/client/index.aspx?page=2 .
cool. thanks for the link
There's still time for them to squeeze one in though
Ummm...hate to break it to you, but the macbooks have been updated relatively silently since their release. The change from CD==>C2D was 'silent', as was the update in May. Why does there have to be a big event for them to be updated? It seems that Jobs only updates phones, iPods, and software at big events these days (oh, and that one iMac update ).
MacBooks Get Refreshed November 6
We have the 20 page 489 post thread. Don't you know MacBooks get refreshed November 6 by now?
I already know that, but from my judgement if they don't announce a product revision Friday then im going to be a little pissed.
Hold on in there mate, early November
Well I can always return it in 15 days and still get the free nano.
No you can't. Rebates require you to cut out UPCs, and without a UPC, you wouldn't be able to return.
Way to kill my dream. Better knowing that now rather then later.
Well, it's one of those things you would have figured out in an embarrasing visit to the Apple Store
But seriously, now you know how this works, so you won't mess up with other rebates either
