When is "thin" too thin?

    Holy crap. That's all the keynote was about. Thin. (And the iMac thickness was misleading but that's another story).

    Enough already. We get it. The products look sleek and cool. Now put some power in the devices and more battery time. My Early 2011 MBP is thin enough. I'd like nothing more than to see the ODD go and my battery life extended to 12 hours.

    Apple's philosophy seems to be; keep specs the same (or lackluster) but make it thinner. WTF?

    When you'll not have to move a finger ever again... Everything will be projected onto your retina and you'll just have to think about the next action in order to trigger it. That's the long-term goal for now...

    And they are making a fortune doing so. Obviously the market likes the message.
