When is YOUR birthday and how old are you turning?

My birthday was on the 3rd of June and I turned 16 🙂
 
Disclaimer: This is serious... no joke.... in no way is this to offend or p*ss anyone off.... i post this first as i have been berated in the past for revealing this info...

My birthday is September 11th....

I know quite a few people with the birthday of September 11.. I see how it may offend people, but if it's your birthday people shouldn't just think you're trying to p*ss people off or trying to make a cruel joke.

I know.... but for some reason people think i am trying to be an ass or something... well most of the time its Americans who think that way....

I have had some heated conversations with people on forums such as this where the community is populated by a lot of americans...

I also know about 5 people with this birthday we always chat about it when we meet... because people seem to apologise when they hear that our birthday is then??!!

Yeah some American's seem to think that everyone is out to get them, not ALL Americans, but there are a few who do. <--- I'm not trying to generalise, I do like Americans, don't get me wrong 🙂
 
December 3rd for me, and I'm not saying how old I am other then the number has a 4 in front of it 😉

I guess it would kind of make sense. If they said "I'm sorry", then it's not necessarily an apology, maybe... they're showing sympathy? I mean, I imagine it would be kind of a downer for people to associate your birthday with the day a terrorist attack happened on.

Of course, I'm not saying that's the way it should be - it doesn't have to be a downer, and you really don't have to feel bad about this in any way at all 🙂 And people getting offended, that's crazy.

June 18th, and I turn 21. The 3.0 software comes out the day before my birthday (even though I already have it as a dev), and I get my 3G S the day after my birthday!
