Pretty pathetic that Google isn't able to update their YouTube app for iPhone 5 and the iPad months after they've been released.

I don't think that they are not "able" as much as they don't care or want to. Slight revenge for google maps maybe?

Not exactly sure how Apple essentially handing over control over Google Maps and YouTube to Google is bad thing for Google--it would seem it's in their best intrest to control the release and what goes into their Maps and YouTube applications, rather than have Apple versions that Apple controls.

Out now.
If you're looking on your iPad and can't find it, try searching for YouTube and then looking in the iPhone apps section, also brings iPhone 5 support.

Yea I would like to see some screenshots of the youtube ipad app.

iPad start screen....when signed in, your channels show up on the left in place of the suggestions shown in this pictured.

Navigation is awesome and very fluid. Very clean.

I've deleted app and reinstalled! Nothing .. Yet it's updated as I have the new iPhone 5 screen size
