I regularly need to copy, MERGE several copied texts and paste the RESULTANT piece into a new document. I have yet to find (I have lost track of inefficient copy and paste Mac apps I have bought and tossed out) any app one-tenth efficient as Climate for Windows which does merging and pasting the resultant extremely well.

Would you please help me if you do know of such an app in existence for macOS? I need an app to merge a series of copied texts and paste them as one piece on demand.

Would you be able to help with this specific need? Thank you.

Hi,

Please can you clarify what you mean by copied texts? e.g. Text on the clipboard? Are they Word documents? Text files (.txt)? Selected text in another app e.g. Illustrator?

If I have a bit more info then I might be able to help you.

First, thank you for the time and effort. Yes, text on the clipboard. Copied 'texts' may be from websites, epubs and PDF sources. I may even need to copy a a line of two of a few .doc or .docx files, but mainly from websites (htm/html) and pdf or epubs.

Just start a new document in Pages or TextEdit even and go ahead pasting your content into it. Then you can either just save it or Cmd-A select all, copy and paste the whole lot into another document of your choice.

My friend, you have not read the question and started not-so-brilliant rejoinders..... unless you know a bit on Clipmate, it may not be easy on the Mac side. The Clipmate equal is not on the Mac (go on and see for yourself) and my hope (and a bit of wishful thinking) I thought the participants in the forum may know something I may not have discovered. Apparently, not yet. Thank you for your time. Your solution does not help. Thank you.

There's multiple apps out there, many that are free. Why don't you tell us which ones you've tried that don't work.

Thank you, again? Almost all of them. One or two down the least were not even worth trying.... NONE does spot-merging, exclusion, addition-- and pasting as one piece. May this inquiry, and your kind determination and generosity, motivate a developer somewhere to bring Climpmate's features to Mac. Clipmate has repeated for years that they are NOT porting their app to Mac.

I have never found an equal to it either ( using it since V3.0 ) ... So I just say with it to be honest, I will be watching to see if any alternatives crop up though
