when making a call have no volume on headset must use speaker???

hey, just noticed that i cant hear the other party during a call with the headset of my iphone 3G, in order to have a convo it must be on speaker?? any ideas would be much appreciated.

Try plugging in your headphones a few times. Sometimes it gets stuck and thinks that the headphones are in when fact they aren't. Hope this helps.
