When selling iPhone, should I keep the sim card?

Hey guys and gals,

I just sold my iPhone 4 online and will be shipping it soon. Should I keep the sim card in the phone or take it out? I've already wiped the OS clean with a fresh version of iOS 5.

I obviously don't need the sim since all new iPhone models come with a sim inside and since I activated my iPhone 4S, that sim is dead. I just don't know the procedure for selling or if there is any information on that old sim card.
