It is, yeah. I think the 64gb has been on sale for about $220 though.
For something I didn't plan to make my daily driver I just couldn't justify the extra $70 (I found the 16gb for $150 at the time)

You can't use iTunes but there are some applications that work similarly. I prefer the Drs and drop method, which you can do now that (for some time) Apple has removed their stupid DRM.
