when taking video(not photos) with iPhone front facing camera in the dark, why can't the screen act like a video light?



Or is there a 3rd party photo/video app for iPhones that can do this?

like on Android phones(picture below), where the picture of yourself becomes smaller and the surrounding area lights up to max brightness to light up your face?

If you have flash enabled, the screen will light up as a make-shift flash prior to the shutter snapping the picture.
