iPhone X when the Hotspot is always ON and not in use-

    Yes as it is advertising itself out as a hotspot to be connected to. I have noticed it drain my battery faster with it on, so I would advise you turn it off and not leave it on when not in use.

    hmm thanks i suspected that.
    i am thinking about the car you see..
    it's kind of a drag to turn it on each time i drive.
    can it be put at the control panel shortcut?
    i'm not sure.

    Yes, absolutely.

    In fact, I had accidentally left mine “on” the other day and was curious as to why my battery was dropping so much more rapidly the last day or two. Just discovered last night that I had neglected to turn it off.

    Done the same and left mine on and noticed the battery did take a hit.
