I was just searching for any Apple ad photos of the late 2006 MacBook Pro.. when the intel core 2 was released with it. I was really looking for the whole profile "at a glance" stuff when they feature it on their website because those are always nice to look at it. I've been searching ALL OVER!! I didn't find any BIG picture product descriptions just small pictures.. does anyone have any copies of the release photos or the whole product description pages like this one (http://www.vistek.ca/rentals/details/30/R303306/rental-details.aspx)? It's just for fun really

    A fantastic resource:

    http://web.archive.org/web/20070121020944/http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/

A bit slow of late, but there are links to galleries and other resources.

If a link doesn't work or an image is missing, copy the resource URL and then replace the date stamp of that url with an asterisk to see if that image or file is available.

    EG: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://images.apple.com/macbookpro/images/indextop20061024.jpg

    which returns several results including:
    http://web.archive.org/web/20070118194154/http://images.apple.com/macbookpro/images/indextop20061024.jpg

Sometimes, dropping the "http://" after the asterisk can yield a different result.

For info, this model was introduced late October 2006 and terminated June 2007.

Archive.org is great for finding heaps of older since deleted files and pages.

    Enjoy
