Today was a sad day to say the least. I have no clue as when Apple will release a new iMac now. I guess we can be pretty sure it´s not going to happen anytime in soon (june/july and probably not august either).

But, I thought stores were getting low on supplies and couldn´t order in new ones. We have seen they are getting lower on most retail sites (except apple has them in stock). Question now I guess is if these stores now will get new supplies of the iMac??? -because then we can pretty much assume that Apple doesn´t have any plans of making an update anytime soon.

anyone has any info on this I would love to hear!

I just sincerely hope that the iMac isn´t a thing of the past and that Apple is taking the Mac Pro route with it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see shiny new iMacs rolled out when Mountain Lion makes its debut.....

Looking at the MBP price, I'd hate to see the price on a Retina 27" screen. Not this year...

Why? The upgraded MBP with retina, full SSD, new everything, is cheaper than the prior maxed out MBP?

Your MBP starts at $2200, for 256GB SSD. You think 27" a Retina iMac would come in less than that? Because today's top 27" iMac is $2000 before BTO.

To be honest the current iMac 27" screen is pretty good as it is lol. They could increase the resolution, I wouldn't be bothered if it wasn't "Retina", because the hardware probably will struggle running at a crazy resolution like that.
