Wondering if the beatX style AirPods is what will be bundled with the new iPhones, with the rumor about the regular EarPods not being bundled anymore

No-one cares Apple. Just make them in black and get it over with.

Headphones are a VERY personal thing; different people like different kinds of headphones. If any product category should have a lot of choices it's this one.

While i agree in theory, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, i personally think 2 styles is enough when it comes to Apple headphones. One for airpods one for over the ear. Keep it simple my Dad use to say. I think that was Steve Job’s philosophy too.
I stand by my one Apple pencil statement tho. That first Apple pencil is horrible the way it charges precariously out the bottom of the ipad like a Popsicle. Lol. Seriously. One pencil to rule them all. But again, that isn’t going to happen until the non pro ipads get the flat edged design of the pros. Maybe next year?

i'm good with a '21 refresh, as i got my 2nd gen airpods on black friday, and in my experience they last just over to years before their battery goes to crap.

Remember when Steve returned to Apple and he discontinued the Performa and all the other distracting options.

It was so wonderful. He drew a + and labeled Portable and Stationary vs Pro and Consumer. One product each.

If all these products were to launch, which one would I get my mother?
I agree, but these are accessories.

Updates are good. New models are not. Additional products should be released with careful consideration because every time a customer has to decide which one to get they increase the risk they won't get any of them. So AirPod vs AirPod Pro makes sense with the improved audio and noise cancellation in the later. But if you are going to introduce over the ear headphones you gotta kill one of the other products.

But wait... you may say... choice is good. More choices are better than less.

No. No they are not.

I see you’re point for things like the iPad. Minimal differences and few visible differences. But AirPods, AirPods Pro, and studio AirPods are 3 vastly different products with 3 vastly different selling points. If you can’t figure that out, you’ve got a problem. Not to mention all the hate that AirPods receive about not fitting. Given studio, in ear, and the regular pods, there will still be price complaints, but at least something to fit everyone.

False. Apple does not know what they're doing. History is repeating itself.

In respect to the wearable market, and in relation to this article, why would you say something so blatantly false, when the dominance is literally in front of you in terms of how they (Apple) are owning the wearable market. The AirPods are literally the greatest product Apple has so much potential for in the future when they were introduced back in 2016, It’s been nothing but continued success for year after year with the AirPods, and now the Pros, with the ‘studio headphones’ likely the next best thing. I think you’re more disgruntled about something internally with Apple then you are making a logical post that simply is untrue for the sake of ‘venting.’
