Why would you prominently display the tag as shown in the picture?
It's only effective when hidden. If I am a thief, first thing I would do is remove that hanging tag.

Should be seeing it at WWDC. Better range will be good. Not expecting any other change. Don't see the need for integration with Vision Pro.

Exactly. The only visible AirTag I have is on the car keys: it is there if I lose them, so no reason to be hidden.
Every other AirTag is well hidden in places not easy to be found immediately

The range has been perfectly good enough.

I'll buy new AirTags if they're available in thinner form factors, get a hole punch for a lanyard/keyring removing the need to buy a case and/or if they have rechargeable batteries that work on an Apple Watch / MagSafe charger.

Beyond that, this is not a product category that needs regular product refreshes and new gimmicky features.

Not really, especially in areas where there are less iPhone available in the nearby.

No thanks ! A tiny rechargeable battery means it becomes disposable after 2 years or so… We already have enough disposable Apple devices…

Definitely not, but it is just the second iteration, so something could be improved. Range for sure.

Built for Apple Intelligence with the all-new U2 chip, AirTags 2 feature powerful upgrades to the advanced tracking system, with Find My quickly accessing useful features, and a big boost in battery life.

They wouldn't actually name it that. Cue the endless reviews from people posting that they stilllll haven't fouuuuuunnnnd what they're looking for.

You still use a wallet?? Everything (including my car keys) has been replaced by my iPhone. My wife uses her Apple Watch...:p
Plenty of things are not yet Apple Wallet compatible yet -- photo ID (in my state), transit pass, gift cards, cash, insurance cards, certain loyalty cards, etc

Absurd comment tbh
