When to expect the first iPhone X reviews?

I'm dying to throw all my money at iPhone X, but the little sense I have left in me wants to make sure that FaceID works as advertised, and that the swipe in place of the home button is a workable idea.

I know there are tons of hands-on reviews out there. I'm talking long term ones, the likes of iPhone 8 that came out recently.

Can we expect them to arrive around the time pre-ordering starts or do we have to wait until November?

For me, I look forward to the user reviews. Those tend to be more straightforward and in-depth. You will probably see some more in-depth reviews a week before the launch from other tech sites.
