I have the 2008 black macbook and the battery hasn't been lasting that long but just long enough about an hour and a half. I was wondering when i should be thinking about buying a new battery because there are not always places to plug it in every hour.
Current info from system profiler: Health Information:
Cycle count: 665
Condition: Normal
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 478
Voltage (mV): 12557

On the fence
Those batteries are designed to last about 300 cycles, so now might not be a bad time to do it if you would like better battery life.

Yeah time to replace, batteries go bad over time, and a new one should last about 3-4 hours.
