My iPhone 7 plus shows battery health of 87%.

Should I replace it while the cost is still $29?

Thanks.

before jan1/19

mines 86%, gonna do it in a few weeks since my battery drains extremely fast.

I did, mine was 84% according to Coconut battery and 88 according to inhouse Apple diagnostics (from a local accredited Apple reseller). Very good move.

Mine was 91% so took advantage of the “deal” and got it replaced before my wife took possession of it :)

Yes, I would replace it if I was you and you were going to keep it. $29 is great. Make sure to backup your phone before you go in and get a replacement.

Most of my phones I have kept for 1.8 years or so --- they've all been within a few % of capacity when I've received them. I use coconutBattery to record battery information over the course of my phone's life every other week or so. https://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/

Now, I've always traded in my old phones to Apple to get a credit on the next phone. But my Xs MAX I plan on keeping for 3-4 years so I'll probably get a battery replacement in a few years if it needs it. This will be the first phone I keep 2+ years.

My 7+ is at 87% after 23 months and I will take advantage of the battery replacement „deal“ before the end of December. Even if I don’t keep it another year (still not 100% sure).

My wife's 7 Plus showed battery health of 87% as well based on the iOS reporting and replaced the battery last week. I'd definitely take the advantage while you can before the price goes up on 1/1/19.
