iPod touch When to sell?

Hey guys,
I have a 1st gen 8gb iPod touch. I want to sell it before the 3rd gen comes out. (So I can buy the new one) My basic question is should I sell it now? Or wait until the release of the 3rd gen is closer?

(I want to get as much $$ as possible from the sale of it)

If you want as much as possible then sell it now.

Just be aware that you'll be without an iPod touch for at least a month, probably closer to 2 months.

Yeah, that's the killer, I really don't want to be without an iPod for two months, but I want to get more $ for it.

it's better to sell soon, the amount of people selling their ipod touch has skyrocketed online, you can buy a brand new ipod touch on amazon now for like 175$, a lot because of the free ipod touch promotion at apple so it's better to sell soon
