When was the last time when Airport Express was updated?

I'm looking foward to buy an Airport Express because of it's portability and Airtunes capability.
When was it last updated and when can I expect an update?
Or is there an alternative device that is also portable and that does Airtunes?

It's not a product that gets updated very frequently, so you shouldn't expect one any time soon.

It's only been updated the once since it's introduction in 2004 and that was back in 2008.
