When I am wearing my AW, I still get all notifications on my iPhone. Is this the norm? How do I enable only AW notifications?

I am running beta but never had the issue until recently. Don't know what caused it , but I wish for a fix!!!

Yeah I reckon the latest build broke something, log a bug report so they know it's not just a small number of users affected 🙂

Because you are running beta software, you have to assume that the beta caused it.

It seems another user who does not use beta is having the same issue as I am. I have no confirmation from Apple that this issue is a beta issue.

As I mentioned above your post, being that he is not on beta software, he needs to restore both devices. If that doesn't solve the issue, then he should go to an Apple Store.

For people with beta software, there is nothing Apple will do for you, as you are on beta software, and will advise you to wait for final release.

Now I understand...thank you for clarifying it. I really like night shift but this issue drives me crazy. Not sure what I'm going to do.

With today's beta seed, this is now fixed! For future, I will be sure to include the Beta tag appropriately.

I have had it happen to me before and it was always cured by unpairing and repairing. I wish Apple would have given us more choices and allowed the phone to make the notifications if the user wanted it that way.
This screen doesn't work for you?

I still don't understand why anyone would want the watch to be the second notifier (or third or fourth, if we include tablets and laptops) when it's physically closer than any other device.

So, on the settings screen I posted, turning off alerts and sounds and haptics doesn't do the trick?

I was not asking you to understand. I was telling you that there is no way to make my phone ignore that I am wearing the watch when it comes to notifications.
