All the stores around me say not available now. But it says if I order to have it delivered to me then it will ship in about 3 days. Does that mean it will also be available in stores in 3 days? I prefer to buy in store because my area is not safe.

I ordered mine the day they announced it. Arrival is set for the 29th. (I paid the $10 for quicker shipping)

I do not think anyone will get one until the 30-31st, even if you paid extra for shipping.

Hope you are right but betting Apple will hold up the delivery till the day of introduction. FedEx or UPS could have instructions to hold. You never know but wish you the best of luck.
If you are not in the USA, it could be the introduction is different.
The 256gb 12.9" was never a preorder so I don't think it has a "release date".

Yep. 4/1 was just the estimated date of arrival.
Now my iPad order is showing 3/31 as the date for delivery. All the accessories will come in early by tomorrow though...
