When will Apple products ship with iOS 26 already installed?

I don't think Apple will go back through already produced devices to update the software. They'll leave that to the user.

All of the 17 series/Air comes with iOS 26 from the factory.

It comes with ios26 ( easy looking the style buttons) but not the latest version , seems it comes with any earlier to RC version .
mine, manufactured on August, so any beta of that date.

it came with the iOS26 but not the latest version, you will need to update iOS before transferring data from old iPhone.

And I have read that Apple is looking to integrate hardware technology that will allow OS updates on in-box products on shelves.

How close Apple is to that rollout, I do not know; but something to keep your eyes peeled for.
