I just don't think there's much in the way of interesting rumours at the moment... I think most of Apples device categories are so well established and have plateaued... that there's not much exciting going on.

Vision Pro is interesting... but its not for most people

If they had a new device, like an Apple TV (with M series SoC) focussed on gaming

Reintroduced iPod as a gaming handheld with 7 inch screen and a clip on controller interface.

Augmented reality glasses that do basic but clever overlays (on thin and light typical glasses)... like being able to flash up a message, a notification warning, weather warning...

A modular Mac mini, or studio, Pro... with a neat internal system for swapping out components with a custom interconnect

A Mac Micro... a Mac the size of a Raspberry Pi that is super efficient but powerful...

iPhone Dock... turn you iPhone into a Desktop by slotting it into a tiny dock system connected to TV or monitor...

Now then Id be super excited and their software would naturally be a lot more interesting in those use cases
🙄😣

A lot is probably going on behind the scenes with EU compliance issues and having a useable version for pending new iPads.
Whats EU got to do with iPadOS and iPads? That is strictly iPhone focused. ;)
I do wonder what would happen if Apple made larger foldable iPhones that only ran some future version of iPadOS?

I just hope they fix the mail bug, where the reply to address is from another email.

My brother was having trouble with iOS 17.4.1 and was on the phone with the apple technician and this is what they said:

Oh you can revert back to the previous version of iOS, just go to settings, general, storage, scroll to the bottom and tap the iOS version and below that screen you will see reverting to a previous version.

Of course we know this doesn’t exist but why was the technician giving him a step-by-step instructions?
Could this be a feature coming? o_O

From a friend within Apple, I got the info that 3 of the 20 new emojis which have a major role in new update are not complete. They have hired 5 experts including Michelangelo and Van Gogh to get it done.

Software has no longer been a priority. The money is in hardware and services.

With the arrival of version .5, it is time for me to install iOS 17 on my iPhone. As soon as Apple releases a new version, I have learned that it becomes a product in development where new functionalities are added and with it new bugs, which, by the way, not even the most valuable company in the world can avoid introducing. Until it stabilizes just before the presentation of the future version, which they will surely demonstrate in its Alpha version during WWDC on June 10. To date, I have only been installing security updates on iOS 16 and I have enjoyed tremendous stability on my phone
