Wondering when apps will be optimized for the 6 plus and should I update to the new software? Any help is appreciated

I updated last night, absolutely no problems for me so far and it feels a bit slicker in my opinion. Go for it.

Google apps like Maps, Youtube and Docs tend to wait months to update after an Apple release a new ios. Google is in competition with Apple, so there is going to be a longer wait for them because they want to promote their Android OS as superior.
