I have noticed that for iMacs, MB's and MBP's, it takes about 6 to 8 weeks from release & shipping date on new models for refurbs to appear for sale. Will the Mac Pro's be available in a similar time frame?

I'm torn between a new single quad or a refurb dual quad. I'd really rather go with the dual quad, but I'd like to save $300-400.

Thanks!

Depends on getting enough recertified units together that it makes sense to put them in the refurb store.

My Harpertown 8-Core was probably the first returned. Wish I could track it to see where it goes and if it will be the first refurb. lol. Doubtful, but fun to think about. lol

Sorry to hear that Greg - dang! I hope your third one is a charm. 😀 What sort of problems have you had?
First one had overheating power supply (unusual). Second one had many screen freezes requiring reboots (apparently common).
