Hopefully soon whatever day it is! I'm 2 days without my iPad and I'm having withdrawal.

There invite you say something like this though...

"join us for a true display"

I say Feb 29 or March 1. Tomorrow seems too early.

Here's last year's invite. "Apple COO Tim Cook said during an Apple shareholder meeting Wednesday that people should 'look at the invitation' to Apple's March 2 event--'It might give you some clues,' Cook explained."

What exactly were the clues? I remember lots of people thinking retina display back then.

I just grabbed that from Huffington Post because it was a top hit on Google but I recall reading that quote a year ago. I still see nothing besides maybe iPad "2".

Fyi, those invites were sent out Feb 23, a week before March 2 which was also a wednesday like March 7 will be.
 
I vote 29th, exactly 1 week before the event, as usual.

I know Steve's birthday is today, but if I were Apple I'd be trying to show the world I could survive as a company without Steve. So no unnecessary associations like that. The iPad 3 is big enough to stand on its own.
