Thought there were discussions on this board about this already? It happens when it's ready, and when Samsung can deliver the amount of displays Apple needs in those sizes and when the component price is right.

Samsungs Tab S3 is the only feasible glass that can be sourced in quantity for an OLED iPad release and it 9.7" My guess is that Apple has to get Touch ID under OLED glass right first.
And with No HOME Button and 9.7" with minimal Bezels it will be Seriously smaller than Current 9.7" iPad Pros. With a large display size.

Or LG does make a 10.5" OLED Display that can be sourced as well. My guess is March 2018 APPLE will refresh its iPad Pro line with a A11X based OLED ProMotion 120hz iPad Pro.

Have my doubts it's why I refused to buy the 2017 iPad Pro until OLED iPad Pros come out.

Just keep tabs on LG or Samsung it's gonna leak any order for 10 Million OLED Displays.
