iPhone XS When will iPhone XS clearance deals come out?

Aren’t there usually clearance deals on previous years’ iphone models? I don’t mean the wimpy $100 off on the Apple store. I’m talking hundreds off or BOGO, that kind of thing. How long do I need to wait? We need new iPhones but the new upgrades are so minor.
