When Will Itunes Get Live Shows?

    Like live sports, tv shows, news broadcasts? Imagine watching a live match on your iphone or ipod touch while away from home. Do you think Apple will implement this?

    They would have to cut deals with the major networks to do this, and would make the networks worry about losing ratings on those events. So, I think the likely answer is: Never, ever never ever never will this happen. Sorry.

    Major Money would be thrown around and cable companies would be really pissed.. but maybe eventually ..

    It'll come eventually when bandwidth is no longer an issue. Can't see it happening for another 5-10 years though. Not iTunes, but just in general.

    What about some of the live streaming sites available on the net like Setanta Broadband, UEFA for soccer matches, I think even MLB has live streaming, ESPN 360. Couldn't Apple work with them, it would be nice to watch live matches on the iphone through itunes on the go.
