    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

Do you guys think in a couple weeks most stores online and the Apple stores will have a good batch in stock?

Won't have my money for the new iPad until a couple weeks hopefully theres more supply because the demand is there, but seems it's backordered just about everywhere :(

Apple has created a demand for parts that can't be produce, collected, and assembled fast enough to satisfy. Same thing happened to Asus with their Transformer. Remember that inside an iPad are the same parts that go into phones and laptops and desktops and Blueray players and a few thousand other consumer products. Memory chips alone have defied Moore's law by being needed in more things than the factories that produce them can satisfy.

With nearly the whole world as your market, it is entirely possible there will be no catching up. Unless Apple builds a whole new factory to produce iPads from raw material to finished product, we'll still only see our local supply only be just a trickle of one or two at a time. The iPad 3 will show up with an unmet demand for the iPad 2 still out there. A great place for Apple to be in. A sucky situation for anyone wanting an iPad2 that doesn't already have one.

In other words, probably not. Best move is that when you have the money ready, put in your order and wait. Apple.com says "ships 1-2 weeks" right now.
