When will the new models be available in stores to check out in person?

I asked for France yesterday and they answer me friday 24, not before.

i find incredible that apple store doesn’t have the newest iPhone just after keynote

I agree just display models to help make a choice. But no buying there until 24.

They don't want people writing reviews or posting benchmarks before launch. Which they'd be doing en masse if the phones were available in stores. Unless they had employees policing every person trying a phone. It would also greatly pressure professional reviewers to put out early reviews.

From a sales standpoint. There isn't much point. It's not like they won't sell out right away. It'll take a while until they're easy to come by. By then people will have plenty of time to test the demo units.

The display models will be available in stores on 9/24/21. It is a wishful thinking but knowing Apple. They never put things on display before the release date.
