When will the next Macbook Pro come out?

One thing you have to learn about technology is that no matter when you buy something, whether right after it comes out or a little later. It is going to be replaced by something, faster, lighter and better within a short matter of time and then you will want to upgrade again. My advice, buy what you want when you want it. Something newer comes out, so what? Keep what you have until you no longer have use for it and then upgrade. The new Core 2 Quadro processors for the MBPs coming out actually didn't have that much of a difference in their benchmarks compared to the Core 2 Duo. So why rush out and get rid of your Core 2 Duo? I know you want the latest and greatest but in reality, they both do the same thing.

Apple has a deal with Intel to ship out new Core 2 quad core processors some time later this year. They are probably going to be called Core 2 Quadro. You can expect the new Quad Core MPBs as early as the later part of this year, November or December or as late as early next year.

Chill out Mac Daddy!!!!!!!! It gets old every day when someone asks WHEN IS THE NEW MACBOOK PRO COMING OUT? So we were just having a little fun.

I believe you're thinking of the desktop Nahelem procs. Remember how the penryn desktop procs came out in november ish of '07, but we didn't see them in the MBP until February of '08? We'll likely see the same thing happening with Nahelem. However, Montevina (the new chipset) is coming out at the end of May, so we'll likely Montevina MBP's between June and August. Does that help?

That they include a returning of the 12 inch to the MBP model line...:apple:
I expect an update for the school rush as well so I have a little time to save for it.:apple:
