When will the second batch become available?

So I've been trying to convince my wife to get me an ipad for our anniversary...unfortunately I'm still working on it. Our anniversary is on the 4th (of course), so i have not preordered or reserved and ipad. I'm assuming supplies will go quick and the earliest i'd be able to convince her and pick one up would be midweek or next weekend (10th-11th). What are the chances there will be any available then. If not, when will the next batch come out. If i can convince her this weekend, I'd hate having to sit back and wait for 3 weeks 🙁

If I were you, I'd go ahead and pre-order online to get one on the 12th. I doubt you'll be able to get one sooner. And if you do, you can always cancel. Besides, that'll give you some time to convince your wife and then when she caves you can say, "Well, good thing I ordered one" 😀

Unfortunately she is not into this sort of thing (hence the need for all the convincing). Instead of a cool apple product she's getting two useless rocks for her ears... freakin expensive useless rocks unfortunately!

I asked for an ipad for my birthday, and my boyfriend is apparently buying rocks instead (he says he will not support my Apple addiction). LOL. Of course, I don't want real, natural ones, because if I lost one, I'd kick myself. I suggest manufactured stones instead. Cheaper, indistinguishable from natural stones, no worry about supporting international conflicts, and if something happens to it, you aren't out a huge amount of money.

Judgmental much guys? No one called OP's wife an idiot for waffling on the ipad as a present for OP's anniversary. I just posted that statement as a contrast to the statement that "women always want rocks." There was no need for personal attacks against someone you don't know.
