August 18, 2009. It will end most likely when school gets back into swing.

Was it not the 250GB harddrive that was the limiting factor for a time.

The shortage will end when supply can meet demand, either by supply increasing or demand decreasing.

    Basic economics ;)

I just checked the Apple store online and it says Next business day delivery available for the 15' 2.80 GHz. The 2.66 GHz also ship within 24 hours. :D
But I order my 3.06 GHz two days ago and it still not shipped yet......

Local Best Buy is in and out of stock all the time. I'm hoping that they'll have the $1700 MBP next weekend for the sales tax holiday; if not, I guess it's off to Amazon.
