iswipe finds everything , but downloads nothing.
neo , it is fast and reliable, but too limited.
limewire is awful
the only app that was a 100% great was open ag.
i use to love this one,but then audio galaxy ,well, was shut down.
i hope metallica doesn't sell anymore records or shows, hehehhe.

Have you tried Acquisition? It searches the same Gnutella network as Limewire, but since it's not Java, it totally kick it's butt. Still, the Gnutella network itself is not that reliable, but going through Acquisition rather than Limewire makes it at least a hundred times better.

I tried XNap, but although it finds literally thousands of results for each search I do, none of them actually download... is it something I'm doing wrong? I'm guessing no...

For me I can download more on Xnap than on acquisition, just share over 300 files and it should go well.

Thanks for your responses.

Where can i get xnap so i can try both acquisition and xnap?
By the way, where you kidding us when you said that we should share 300 files at least, hehhehe.

Thanks again

You can get both programs, and pretty much any other program you could ever want, at versiontracker .

As for sharing 300+ files... I don't think it's a joke. Some servers require you to share that many before they'll allow you to connect. Peronally, I'm sharing something like 550 right now, and I have few problems of that nature.
